Cousins: A lesson in getting along.
Our family boasts thirty first cousins. My mother’s sister had three children, and my dad’s siblings averaged two to three children each, but my dad took “be fruitful and multiply” a bit more seriously with his brood of eight children. Living in the country, I’m no stranger to poor cell phone reception. We’re simply too far away from the signal.
We moved so far out in the country, that when we first moved here, we had to walk the quarter of a mile back to the tree line in the field behind our house and climb a tree stand–hunting stand for those non-hunters out there–to get a signal. We could have been in one of those Verizon commercials like the guy who recently switched to Sprint. [Read more…]
